We use hybrid encryption with Fuzzy Identity-Based Encryption (Fuzzy-IBE) schemes, and present the first and efficient fuzzy identity-based key encapsulation mechanism (Fuzzy-IB-KEM) schemes which are chosen-ciphertext secure (CCA) without random oracle in the selective-ID model. To achieve these goals, we consider Fuzzy-IBE schemes as consisting of separate key and data encapsulation mechanisms (KEM-DEM), and then give the definition of Fuzzy-IB-KEM. Our main idea is to enhance Sahai and Waters' "large universe" construction, chosen-plaintext secure (CPA) Fuzzy-IBE, by adding some redundant information to the ciphertext to make it CCA-secure.

Direct Chosen-Ciphertext Secure Identity-Based Key Encapsulation Without Random Oracles
We describe a new and practical identity-based key encapsulation mechanism that is secure in the standard model against chosen-ciphertext (CCA2) attacks. Since our construction is direct and not based on hierarchical identity-based encryption, it is more efficient than all previously proposed schemes. Furthermore, we give the first chosen-ciphertext secure identity-based key encapsulation mecha...
متن کاملCCA Secure IB-KEM from the Computational Bilinear Diffie-Hellman Assumption in the Standard Model
In this paper, we propose several selective-identity chosen-ciphertext attack secure identity based key encapsulation (IB-KEM) schemes that are provably secure under the computational bilinear Diffie-Hellman (CBDH) assumption in the standard model. Our schemes compare favorably to previous results in efficiency. With delicate modification, our schemes can be strengthened to be full-identity CCA...
متن کاملChosen-Ciphertext Security from Tag-Based Encryption
One of the celebrated applications of Identity-Based Encryption (IBE) is the Canetti, Halevi, and Katz (CHK) transformation from any (selective-identity secure) IBE scheme into a full chosen-ciphertext secure encryption scheme. Since such IBE schemes in the standard model are known from previous work this immediately provides new chosen-ciphertext secure encryption schemes in the standard model...
متن کاملDirect Chosen-Ciphertext Secure Attribute-Based Key Encapsulations without Random Oracles
We present a new technique to realize attribute-based encryption (ABE) schemes secure in the standard model against chosen-ciphertext attacks (CCA-secure). Our approach is to extend certain concrete chosen-plaintext secure (CPA-secure) ABE schemes to achieve more efficient constructions than the known generic constructions of CCA-secure ABE schemes. We restrict ourselves to the construction of ...
متن کاملStrongly Secure Authenticated Key Exchange from Factoring, Codes, and Lattices
An unresolved problem in research on authenticated key exchange (AKE) is to construct a secure protocol against advanced attacks such as key compromise impersonation and maximal exposure attacks without relying on random oracles. HMQV, a state of the art AKE protocol, achieves both efficiency and the strong security model proposed by Krawczyk (we call it the CK model), which includes resistance...
